So Very Me

Suffering Bloggy Burnout? Yea…

So as you all may (or may not) have noticed or whether you care (or don’t), I haven’t been writing much since I got back from holiday. I think some of it has to do with Kloey and her new situation but a lot of it has to do with something else that’s been pissing me off… which I can’t really talk about here.

All in all I have been pretty much uninspired by anything (again!)and it’s kinda killing me slowly. I get moody when I can’t be creative or do the weird things I usually do when I’m feeling a little bit bored. Being inside all day doesn’t help either, even though I know I can go out but the heat has just been nuts, and I don’t want my son out in it since we have to walk everywhere to do anything when my husband isn’t home. But I am… sort of… working on that :P Some day I shall have a car and a license!! *shake fist*

Plus I really have nothing to talk about anymore. Well, I prolly do, I just haven’t been able to voice my opinion in an educated and well written manner. I feel less and less intellectual lately. Like I’m getting dumber by the day… *shrug* Iuno…

I hope I can get over it soon though. ‘Cause seriously being unable to express myself artistically is making me wanna just… UGH! Ya know?

Question: Do you ever feel this way, and if so, how do you improve your situation?

I’ve felt that way before, but I really don’t have any advice to get out of it. I hope you feel more normal though, and kick that funk to the curb!

  2. yesterday I was feeling very annoyed, too. It was hot outside, my stomach was bloated, no airco at home. eventually I felt better as the air cooled down and I started sewing. My advice it to try and stay calm with those around you. If you can get a license, it would be great too so you feel more independent. Don’t know if this may help.

When it’s hot outside – i just eat some icecream, for my other frustrations it makes me feel better if I have a todo list – so, i encourage myself that someday I’ll have what I want.

I think everyone is feeling this right now, that’s one reason I just wrote a recent post on how to get reinspired.

Let me know if I can do anything for you. I know I owe you a guest post I just have been barely getting my posts up so it’s been hard.

All of the time. I find reading helps a little and it intellectually stimulating. So is watching documentaries.

  7. I give myself very small, very concrete goals. Today I am working with hourly five minute stream of consciousness writes amidst other “puttery” activities. Its the first day of school and am slightly discombobulated. Its been years since the only agenda to the day was mine… which normally would leave me stunted and unable to do anything (burnout, indeed, has been rumbling) but I find a bowl full of writing prompts and a commitment to write for a mere five minutes on whatever I draw from the bowl works wonders.

As a matter of fact, I am about to start again.

Will be sending love and productive vibes. HUGS!
